Creating a CoderDojo Account

If you do not have a CoderDojo Global account, you will need to create one before signing up for our events. Follow the steps below to get set up.

1. Go to CoderDojo Zen and Start the Registration Process

Navigate to zen.coderdojo.com. Click "REGISTER" in the top right corner. You will be redirected to the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

2. Select Your Age

If you are 13 or over, click "13 and over." Otherwise, please have your parent or guardian sign up as their own account. Later on in the process, parents can add multiple children to their account.

Click "13 and over"

3. Fill In Your Information

Please use an email address that you check regularly so you can be updated through our mailing list. Don't use passwords that are easily guessable nor ones that you will forget.

4. Verify your Email Address

Go to your email inbox and see if you received a confirmation email from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Copy the code from the email or click the link

5. Open a New Tab and Re-Enter CoderDojo Zen

Open a new tab and go back to CoderDojo Zen. This time, click "LOGIN."

6. Sign into Raspberry Pi

Sign in to authorize your account for use with CoderDojo.

Some Ninjas and parents find that they get a "Zen Registration Failed- No user" error when completing this step. If that is the case, please email info@coderdojo.com to get in touch with the official CoderDojo Foundation support page.

8. Parents Only: Add Child to Account

If you signed up as a parent in step 2, then you need to add your children to your account.

  1. On the top right of CoderDojo Zen, click your name, and then click "MY PROFILE."

  2. Once your profile is brought up, scroll down until you see the "Add Child" button. Click it.

  3. Fill in the related information and click "Save."

  4. When signing up for events, you will just add your child(ren).
